Annual Ice Festival in Rockford, Michigan
Peninsular Technologies is a sponsor of the annual Rockford Ice Festival in Rockford, Michigan. The January 2011 festival featured carving demos, miniature golf, sports wall, scavenger hunt, 30+ sculptures, and free hot cocoa. On-site online voting was offered via Peninsular Technologies for a "best sculpture" and "best golf hole" design contest. We look forward to taking part in the 3rd annual Ice Festival in 2012!

E-Waste Recycling
As a software and computer hardware development company, Peninsular Technologies believes in the responsible disposal of electronic waste products. On May 15th 2009, we hosted a free e-waste recycling event for Ada-based businesses. Over a three hour period, CompRenew Environmental collected more than 1,600 pounds of e-waste. We salute CompRenew's dedication to preserving our planet's ecosystem and hope to sponsor more events such as this in the future.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society
Peninsular Technologies proudly supports the work of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. It has been an active donor to MS-related fundraising events in West Michigan for many years; in 2009, Peninsular Technologies also sponsored its very own golf team for the MS Longest Day of Golf in May and September. The team raised more than $2,500 for the Michigan Chapter of the National MS Society and shared a Top 100 Teams award for 2009.

Cystic Fibrosis Foundation
Peninsular Technologies is a proud sponsor of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Greater Grand Rapids Chapter. Our booth at the annual Tee Up for CF golf event collected voluntary charitable donations to the Foundation as we treated participants to a personalized DVD displaying their golf swing at multiple angles utilizing our DigiSightPT software technology. Our cameras also made an appearance at a similar fundraising event co-sponsored by the Drew Stanton High 5ive Foundation, and we look forward to many further visits in the future.

Ada Township Softball
Peninsular Technologies is the proud sponsor of its own employee-based co-ed softball team through the Ada Township Parks & Recreation program. Our softball team won a coveted sticky note award for "Slightly Improved Season" in 2010; we hope we continue this trend into 2011!
Garden Project
In the spring of 2009, one of our staff members constructed an 8 x 8 foot garden planter for flowers and vegetables on the north side of our property. Since then, our office has been showered with everything from tomatoes to cucumbers to snow peas. The Ada Farmer's Market allowed us to plant several perennials in our garden; we have also been blessed with colorful zinnias and giant sunflowers. It's a welcome addition to the property!
